Kelly Weideman

Evolt IOH Pty Ltd

Chief Innovation Officer

A frontrunner in the fit tech space, Kelly Weideman is a leading example for young females and emerging business owners.

Kelly is the Co-Founder of global health tech company Evolt which is deemed by some as the Uber of body scanners. Guided by her belief that ultimate success is a healthy body and mind, Kelly has been on a quest to refine the best fit-tech platform to spread this mantra to the masses. Working with her co-founder and business partner, they are leading innovation to help make the world a healthier place through education and awareness of body composition metrics for everyday people.

Now used on every continent, Evolt’s core product is a medical device and body composition scanner that is the world's only product that offers personalised calorie and macronutrient recommendations based on an individual's true lean body mass.

Originally from South Africa and now an Australian citizen, Kelly has come a long way in only a handful of years. From operating her own mobile body scanning business to launching a Gold Coast start-up which is now a global brand, Kelly’s career remains on an upward trajectory.

Equal parts passionate about health and fitness and tech innovation, Kelly says Evolt is about wellness meeting technology. “I love working with technology and discovering new programs and platforms that can make all of our lives easier. There’s always going to be a health and wellness movement and it’s incredibly rewarding to see people embracing our technology to help them on their journey.”

Evolt’s client portfolio boasts global partners such as Anytime Fitness and Virgin Voyages and has established various market segments beyond the health and fitness industry, such as corporate wellness, supplement and vitamin retail, health insurers, medical, pharmacy, allied health and other preventative health and wellness industries.

Keeping herself busy outside of work, Kelly is involved in the Gold Coast Accelerator Mentor Program, she’s on the judging panel for Awards Australia Community Awards and a board member for Fitness Wellness Australia. Kelly is also a member of Fit Summit’s Leadership Circle - an invitation-only, hybrid community driving new investment and innovation into and across Asia-Pacific.

Last year Kelly was listed among Australia’s top 100 entrepreneurs and her next moves include expanding Evolt’s footprint to the Middle-East and becoming an ASX listed company.
